CITY IMPACT - Detroit, MI: Breaking the Curse Off Black America

August 2, 2005

Friday and Saturday of this week David Barton, Rev. Wayne Perryman, Pastor C. L. Jackson, Susan Weddington and I will be in Southfield, Michigan for a very important conference. Forty pastors in the Detroit area, most of them African American, are inviting us back for the third time to welcome the presence of God, facilitate reconciliation, present the truth of our history, and equip Christians to take a seat at the table to access power in this nation. Please join us for this very important conference. Also see my book recommendation after the flier below.

I hope to see you in Detroit Friday night. If you have friends in the Detroit area, please forward this email to them. OR hop a plane and meet us there as we continue to equip Christians to take their faith and values into the civic arena.

Alice's Book Recommendation - -
One of the most powerful books I've ever read was penned recently by my friend, Apostle Willie Wooten from New Orleans, LA. It's called, Breaking the Curse Off Black America. God has given Apostle Wooten divine revelation beginning with a dream about Rev. Small, which began a search for the truth that resulted in the release of this very important book. Apostle Wooten lays a Biblical foundation as he defines a curse then matches statistics to each characteristic. God showed him when the curse came in and why and how to break it. Apostle speaks as a Black leader, not just to the Black community, but to America. I encourage you to order the book from his church's website and pass it on to others who need to read this very important revelation. You can order his book at www.gideonchristianfellowship.org or by calling his church at (504) 947-4857.
